I just returned from St. Isabel hospital after visiting my cousin who gave birth to a second child today. Its a magical experience looking at the creation of new life, a new member added to the big happy family.

A police parade
This is the first time that i saw a police parade live happening before me. Though it was not as spectacular as the republic day parades happening in Delhi or in a chennai I really enjoyed watching it.
This was a training for the upcoming rk nagar by elections which are about to happen on the 27th this month. The place is sir thyagaraya college at thandayarpet where I have been writing the mba exams each week end.

I have just activated the tumblr account and imported the last 250 posts from blogger with great difficulty. The problem is that blogger to tumblr direct transfer is not possible and the post limit for a single day is 250. More on this later.

Checked out tumblr app today. The interface is very good. Though i doubt its usefulness on slow networks,Im willing to give it a shot. Post migration already in progress.

Finally I have found a way to automate the photo uploads from Facebook to blogger. This is by using fb page as an intermediate for uploading. I will continue to use Facebook Groups for my personal photos.
