Invitation distribution for my engagement

I have been keeping this out of the net for so long that I thought I would never be able to tell the entire story in one blog entry. And I think it's better that I leave out certain preliminary details and events due to its private nature. Some of the things I speak about are known only to me while others are just privy to close relatives and friends. 
Along with my parent's approval,  we have decided that the engagement would be on 23rd jan. More on this later..
